I got some exciting news this weekend: A flash fiction piece I submitted to Silver Birch Press a couple months ago has gone out in to the world! I knew it had been accepted and would publish at some point, I just wasn’t sure when, so it was a pleasant part of my Sunday to get the news and the link to my story:

“How to Do It All” is my attempt to get down on paper all the ways I keep my life, and the lives of those I’m responsible for, together. A “moment in time”-type piece, I tried to include my feelings alongside every task as it’s being accomplished–or merely added to my never-ending to-do list.

Flash fiction (flash nonfiction, in this case?) is still very much a new venture for me, but I’m pretty proud of this piece. Take a look and let me know what you think!
